Please join on Sunday, September 21 at 3 p.m. at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th Street in Adams Morgan, just south of Columbia Road on the west side of the street) for the DCAC kickoff event of the fall season: a Super Local Extravaganza featuring LYNNE DREYER and PHYLLIS ROSENZWEIG.

Born in Baltimore, LYNNE DREYER has lived in the DC area since the mid-1970's, aside from 1 year in New York City. She is the author of a number of chapbooks, as well as a "Round Robin Intraview" with Joan Retallack, Phyllis Rosenzweig and Tina Darragh. Roof Press published her book The White Museum. She has worked in the rec therapy field in different capacities and in different places, such as D.C. Rec., U.S. Park Service, Sheppard Pratt Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital Pediatric Oncology, and for the past 11 years in the Baltimore City School System. Lynne also teaches Yoga. She now lives in Falls Church, Virginia with David Jacobs; they have two sons, Gregory and Eric.

PHYLLIS ROSENZWEIG is a curator at the Hirshhorn Museum, and she co-edits Primary Writing with Diane Ward. Her books include: 17 Poems (O Press, 1975); Dogs (Edge Books, 1996); and Reasonable Accommodation (Potes & Poets Press, 1997).
