Please join us on Sunday, February 16th at 3 p.m. at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th Street in Adams Morgan, just south of Columbia Rd. on the west side of the street) for was promises to be a fantastic poetry reading by two poets coming to DC from afar: ARIELLE GREENBERG and MICHAEL SCHARF.

ARIELLE GREENBERG was born in Ohio and has lived in New York and Israel. She is the author of the recently published book, Given (Verse Press, 2002). Her poems have appeared in a number of journals, including the Crazyhorse, Fence, Volt, jubilat, and Crayon. She also reviews books for Rain Taxi, the Electronic Poetry Review and other magazines, and serves on the editorial board of How2: an Online Journal of Innovative Women's Poetics. Since 2001, she has lived just outside Boston and has taught at Bentley College.

MICHAEL SCHARF comes to us from New York City. He is the author of Telemachiad (1999) and Vérité (2002), a free .pdf that can be downloaded at www.ubu.com/ubu (check it out!). He is also a co-curator of the Segue reading series at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York.
