We hope you can join us on Sunday, January 21 at 3 p.m. at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th St. in Adams Morgan, several blocks below the corner of Columbia and 18th) for a poetry reading by LESLIE BUMSTEAD and JULES BOYKOFF.

LESLIE BUMSTEAD co-edits the poetry magazine CROW with Rod Smith and was founding editor of the magazine SO TO SPEAK at George Mason University where she received her MFA in 1994. Her work has recently appeared in Gare Du Nord, Lungful, and The Germ. She currently lives in Cote d'Ivoire.

JULES BOYKOFF lives in the Glover Park neighborhood of Washington, DC and is earning a Ph.D. in political science from American University. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Kenning, Ixnay, Skanky Possum, 5th Gear, Phoebe, and other small press journals. He is also co-editor, along with Kaia Sand, of THE TANGENT, a zine of politics and the arts that, among other things, publishes experimental poetry.
