Charles Bernstein is the author of over 40 books of poetry,criticism, libretti, and translation. His All the Whiskey in Heaven: Selected Poems, released earlier this year, has garnered substantive praise in such venues as Publishers Weekly, The New York Times, Time Out New York, and Bookforum. Other recent books include Umbra (Chax Press), Blind Witness (Factory School), and Girly Man (The University of Chicago Press). He is the Donald T. Regan Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania.
