Rod Smith is the author of Deed, Music or Honesty, Protective Immediacy, and In Memory of My Theories. He edits the journal Aerial, publishes Edge Books, and manages Bridge Street Books in Washington, DC. He is also editing The Selected Letters of Robert Creeley with Kaplan Harris and Peter Baker for The University of California Press Smith was a Visiting Professor in Poetry at the Iowa Writers' Workshop, Spring 2010. He currently teaches at the Corcoran College of Art.
Elaine Kahn is the author of the chapbook Customer (Ecstatic Peace Library, 2010) & Radiant Bottle Caps (Glasseye, 2008). She is the assistant editor of Flowers & Cream Press and co-curates (with Bill Nace) the LOOT performance series at Flying Object. Work has been featured in Agriculture Reader, Elimae, NOÖ Journal, La Petite Zine, & others. Elaine is also the man behind the musical project Horsebladder. Her debut LP Not I'll Not was just released on Ecstatic Peace.
Weyes Blood is the project Natalie Mering, multi instrumentalist and superb vocalist. Mering plays songs of deep melancholy on organ and guitar, weaving manipulated tape loops throughout, using sound effects as instruments. Natalie was once a member of Jackie-O Motherfucker and has also collaborated with such artists as Nautical Almanac and Axolotl. After self releasing her first cdr Strange Chalices of Seeing in 2007, Natalie has gone on to release a 7" with Phil Todd's Memoirs of Aesthete imprint entitled Liquor Castle, an LP on Not Not Fun entitled The Outside Room, and a split tape with Angels in America on Northern Spy.
