Please join the In Your Ear Reading Series for our first reading of 2013, featuring Anne Boyer, Fani Papageorgiou, and Buck Downs at 3 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013.

A visual artist and poet, ANNE BOYER is the author of The Romance of Happy Workers (Coffee House Press) and Anne Boyer's Good Apocalypse (Effing Press). She teaches creative writing, aesthetics, and digital culture at Kansas City Art Institute.

FANI PAPAGEORGIOU was born in Athens in 1975. She studied Law and History of Science at Edinburgh University and Harvard. Her Greek novel, Zero and One (Athens: Kastaniotis, 2000) won the Maria Rally award for a first novel. Her poems have appeared in magazines and literary journals in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Her first book of poetry, When You Said No, Did You Mean Never? has just been released by Shearsman Books.

BUCK DOWNS is the author of *black peppermint*, YOU CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU REALLY DON'T NEED, and the soon-to-be-released Always Materialized. Since the mid-90s, he has distributed poems across the country and around the world through a series of monthly postcards.
