Lindsay Bernal’s first collection of poems, What It Doesn't Have to Do With, was selected by Paul Guest as a winner of the 2017 National Poetry Series competition and is forthcoming from the University of Georgia Press in the fall of 2018. Her poems have appeared inBlackbirdConjunctions OnlineGulf CoastOversoundTikkun, and other journals. Lindsay coordinates the Creative Writing Program and the Writers Here & Now reading series at the University of Maryland.
 
Emily Flamm’s writing has been published in CatapultTerritoryCosmonauts AvenueCrab Orchard Review, and other places, and her work has been a finalist for the Jack Dyer Fiction Prize and the Raymond Carver Short Story Prize. She almost never tweets from @heyscrapper.
 
Frank Montesonti is the author of two full-length collections of poetry, Blight, Blight, Blight, Ray of Hope, Winner of the 2011 Barrow Street Book Prize chosen by D.A. Powell, and the book of erasure, Hope Tree (How To Prune Fruit Trees) by Black Lawrence Press. He is also author of the chapbook, Arts Grant, winner of the 2017 Midwest Chapbook Prize. His poems have appeared in journals such asTin HouseAQRBlack Warrior ReviewPoet Lore, and Poems and Plays, among many others. He lives in Los Angeles and is the lead faculty of the MFA program at National University.
 
Jake Syersak received his MFA from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing a PhD in English and Creative Writing at the University of Georgia. His poems have appeared in ConjunctionsColorado Review, Black Warrior ReviewOmniverseNotre Dame Review, and elsewhere. He is the author of the full-length Yield Architecture and several chapbooks, including the recentNEOCOLOGISM. Other projects include translating the works of Moroccan poet Mohammed Khair-Eddine and editing An Explosive Pearl in the Seashell of Sleep: An Anthology of American Surrealist Poetry. He edits the online poetry journal Cloud Rodeo, co-edits the micro-press Radioactive Cloud, and co-curates the Yumfactory Reading Series in Athens, GA.
