Seth Perlow is the author of a book of criticism, The Poem Electric: Technology and the American Lyric (University of Minnesota Press) and editor of Gertrude Stein’s Tender Buttons: The Corrected Centennial Edition (City Lights). He has written about poetry for the Washington Post, Los Angeles Review of Books, Public Books, and elsewhere. His poems have appeared in the Carolina Quarterly, Cortland Review, Carousel, the Common, and some magazines that don’t start with the letter C. He teaches American literature and media studies at Georgetown University.
