love's labor update

she's like that wed wed bachelor
    keeps up in my head steady-batchin

        coal chute sugar
        celestial custody
sacred songs
     of ancient stuff
we write to waste
   life twice
and leave no service
mark behind

       and it has turned out so fine
        I had to twist up a fattie
        in solidarity with myself
